Software Developer
EGYSOFTECH is a consulting firm that helps clients to design and implement new features, and enhance and maintain existing code; Design, build, deploy, and support large-scale applications on the client and server-side; Ensure all code written is tested and integrated with existing product code base and version control system.
As the successful candidate for a software developer position, you will help us integrate, develop, deploy, and scale clients’ technology.
You have a strong background in software development and can work independently under the supervision of a senior software designer. You will be part of the team that will be instrumental in making the client’s platform easy-to-use, performant, and scalable. You are creative, motivated, collaborative, and analytical. You will be working from home.
Your experience includes at least some of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Javascript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS and similar web-based technologies
- Plugin architectures, especially, with add-ons for Google Suite and add-ins for MS Office applications
- Parsers and compilers, CAS (Computer algebra systems), especially with Reduce
- SQL databases (ER modeling, query optimization) and NodeJS server architecture
- Strong background in algorithms
- Excellent knowledge of OOD and Design Patterns
- Experience and interest in performance, load, and scalability issues
- Experience with machine learning techniques
Java and Full Stack Developer
A base knowledge with significant depth is expected, but an ability to learn new things and innovate is even more important.
- Ability to review requirements, choose appropriate technologies and communicate architectures and designs to other technical staff.
- Excellent English communication and specification reading and writing skills.
- Familiarity with Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming. Concurrency, Patterns and UML and other Diagramming
- Ability to design and implement application features for a Java Web Server environment.
- Implement primarily REST based services using JAX-RS but also familiar with JAX-WS
- Will code components in Java, object oriented programming.
- Expert in Java, J2EE.
- Familiarity with web clients, specifically, Single Page Applications, Web Components, Javascript and frameworks used for this technology.
